Doylestown: From Crossroads to Community

We have partnered with our friends from The Doylestown Historical Society to present their new documentary sharing the history of our town. Members from the Historical Society will be on site to introduce the film and lead a post film Q&A.

For thousands of years, the indigenous Lenni Lenape traveled two footpaths that crossed in the center of today’s Bucks County. With the coming of Europeans, those paths became roads and a tavern was established. By 1776, Doyle’s Tavern was accompanied by a few other log structures as a village began to grow. As part of Doylestown Celebrates USA250 the Doylestown Historical Society has produced a video chronicling the history of the Doylestown community from these beginnings to the present day.

50% of all ticket sales will benefit the Doylestown Historical Society.
